Alice
My name is Alice Hoffmann.
I am a manga artist from Austria and have been in love with the craft for more than 20 years.
Illustration and sequential art are both dear to me.
I aim to pay as much attention to detail as possible while expressing the emotional idea behind a single piece or longer story.
In the strive to get closer to one’s ideal, learning never stops. I was blessed to enjoy art mentorships by Sycra Yasin, Istebrak and Sean Bianchi, as well as live workshops and countless self-dependent online courses.
Even outside of artistic skills I am fascinated with personal improvements. Inner demons are forsaken allies, I welcome them to fulfill more of my potential.
Milestones
2025
- Echo Remains Release: Ongoing fantasy/ drama webcomic
- About 70 commission projects, both for commercial and personal use, varying from one-off illustrations to multi-part artwork series
- All my Convention Friends Release: A nostalgic friendship book specifically for anime convention enthusiasts as a way to make memories
- Artist Interview with Koneko Magazine #131
- MostiCon: Artist Alley Management and Co-Organization of art contests
- RoyalCon: Co-Organization of the event itself, as well as marketing, graphic design, merch design & production
2024
- Organization of the very first RoyalCon event in Upper Austria, including event planning, marketing, graphic design, merch design & production
- Launch of my Etsy Store
- Increased work on the story and character designs of my upcoming webcomic Echo Remains whenever possible
- Personal milestone: I did my first 42km Sternstein and 55km Donautrail hikes with friends (slowly but steadily 😉 )
2023
- Work on RoyalCon co-organization of the event itself, marketing, graphic design, merch design & production
- Strong focus on anime convention artist alleys
2022
- Co-Founding of the Upper Austrian anime convention RoyalCon
- Self-publish release of my artbook at local anime conventions
- Artbook contribution Artists for Peace
